We received a request from a shipbuilding company in Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture, and conducted the aluminum corrosion pipe replacement work for a customs vessel from August 20 to September 1, 2025. The site was extremely confined, requiring high-difficulty aluminum TIG welding in all positions for this on-site work. After searching for about a year for a craftsman with an aluminum welding license (TN-1P), they consulted with our company for assistance. We removed the pipes that had progressed in electrolysis and corrosion due to the seawater environment and successfully welded the new aluminum pipes. This site also served as a training ground for young craftsmen, and with the cooperation between the factory and the site, the work was completed safely within the schedule.
